About Us

Cunningham Cabins is a family owned and operated business. We purchased the property in Sparta, Tennessee for its spacious, rolling hills, the bubbling creek and the peaceful location. Our family enjoys hiking in Fall Creek Falls, visiting Calfkiller Brewing Company in downtown Sparta, exploring Cumberland Caverns and touring the many wineries in the area. This is the perfect place for your family and friends to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Our goal is for you to enjoy our home away from home as much as we do.

Why We Chose Fall Creek Falls

We originally purchased this property as a mountain getaway to unplug and be close to nature. There are several places to hike and fish that are very close to our vacation home. These rentals are situated on 40 acres of rolling hills with the creek running along the back of the property. It is a peaceful retreat away from the fast paced life we live. This is a perfect place to slow things down and enjoy time with family and friends.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:

This property is located only an hour drive from Nashville, Chattanooga & Knoxville, TN. It is a two hour drive from Atlanta, GA. and only a three hour drive from Birmingham, AL.

Our family of 4, including our 11 year old and our adult son with disabilities stayed here over New Years holiday with family friend and her 10 year old son. We found it to be very restful, the kids had room to play their games, we had room to read quietly and cook in from grocery stores just a few miles away in town. It was too cold for us to use the paddleboats, etc. but we plan to do so next time. We found the Fall Creek Falls and hikes there delightful and coming "home" to this house was very warm and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again!

Mom was visiting from out of State, two families live in Middle Tennessee and Knoxville. We were going to camp, but weather report was for heavy rain, so we found the cabin on-line. We spent a really relaxing family time with board games, cards, and good food. (The kitchen was well-equipped and there were two grills outside under shelter.) When the rain let up, we were able to go down to the river and use the kayaks and paddleboat. So peaceful (and private). Wonderful time!

If you want to ran away from it all this is the perfect place. Surrounded by nature. Hills, trees and a river. Cabins are clean and easily accessible. There are waterfalls, parks, lakes and hiking trails nearby. Don't forget to visit Calfkiller Brewery and be charmed by the Sergio Family. Can't wait to go back!
